inda Morell is interested in evaluation and assessment issues in education. She is the project coordinator for the Strategic Education Research Partnership (SERP) initiative at the Berkeley Evaluation and Assessment Research (BEAR) Center. This project brings together local universities and local school districts to connect practice and research. She is a researcher on the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) project. And, she recently helped to lead standard setting sessions for the Institut zur Qualitatsentwicklung in Bildungswesen (IQB) in Potsdam, Germany. She led a heterogeneous group comprised of ministry officials, content specialists, and middle and high school teachers to set cut-scores in the first foreign language subject area of English.
